10th September 2023 – Grampound Road Cricket Club

Are you a finger spinner? Big hitter? Mean away swinger? Or possess a googly….?

Then RCHT charity WANTS YOU!

Join us for the inaugural and fun RCH’T20’ Cricket Tournament at Grampound Road Cricket Club on Sunday 10th September 2023.

The brainchild of RCHT Deputy Director of Finance, Ian Dean, the day will involve fast paced, fun T20 format cricket with 4 teams of 11 players battling it out. The winning two teams will face each other in a final match later in the day, with the winners being crowned RCH’T20’ champions.

Ian said “As a keen cricketer I thought the fast paced format of T20 (20 over) cricket would create a perfect day for all the family to enjoy. The cricket will be full of fun with music and lots to cheer, food and drinks will be available on the day so spectators very welcome. It promises to be a great day so dust off your cricket gear and join us to raise some funds for RCHT charity.”

We need 4 team captains and 11 players per team and it would be great to have teams representing staff from all over the Trust.

RCHT Charity Community Fundraiser Lynne Lees said “you don’t need to be a top notch cricketer or be super fit, we just need people with lots of enthusiasm, a little bit of cricketing experience and the desire to give something back to St Michael’s Hospital, West Cornwall Hospital and Royal Cornwall Hospital”.
