A Festive Thank You

Thanks to the generosity of our local community, RCHT Charity have been able to provide light and festive joy for patients, staff and visitors at Royal Cornwall Hospital this Christmas.

Our festive projection of shining Christmas Stars has been made possible thanks to our main sponsors and partners of the Christmas Star Appeal – TClarke.

Many other donations have been contributed to the appeal, all donors are featured on our ‘Wall of Thanks.’

Surgeon swims to advance surgery in Cornwall

A pod of 35, and growing, swimmers will take to the sea off Rosemullion Head, Falmouth in July to complete a challenging 5km sea swim ending at Pendennis Head. Participants of ‘5k Across the Bay’ will be raising funds and awareness to bring new robotic technology to patient undergoing surgery in Cornwall.

Trauma Response Car, equipped by RCHT Charity

The introduction of a Major Trauma Response Car, operating out of Royal Cornwall Hospital, means that patients suffering serious injury, for example at a road traffic accident, may no longer need to come via Royal Cornwall Hospital on their way to receive care at one of the region’s major trauma centres.
