Appreciation news story for the wonderful fundraising group The Blue Belles for their support with The Royal Cornwall Hospitals Charity and two of their funds.

Incredibly the Truro based Blue Belles have raised over £25,000 this year to date!

The ladies started their fundraising journey for the Robotic Surgery Fund, when in March they held a spring ball at the Royal Cornwall Museum and raised an incredible £20,085. The night was a huge success with unforgettable music, singing, dancing, delicious canapés, bottle tombola, and even an auction which featured artwork by the talented Cornish artist, Joe Armstrong, along with a week-long holiday in Watergate Bay! The fundraising went to support the future of robotic surgery in Cornwall.

Last month, the ladies hosted a luxurious Well Being Day at Epiphany House in Truro to support the Heart of Headland Fund. The ticketed event was a complete sell out! The day started with a talk from Juliet Rickard, Lead SACT Nurse, to explain the importance of the boxes for patients who are embarking on their chemo or immunotherapy journey.

The day included a diverse range of therapies, including Swedish massages, healing experiences, and reflexology. Guests enjoyed lunch, refreshments, a raffle, and even a tour of the beautiful house! The event was a resounding success, with attendees thoroughly enjoying themselves and raising a total of £3,000.
